Happy Independence Day!

Over 200 years ago our forefathers defiantly cried out: "Down with the Redcoats!", and a new nation was born "conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal". We haven't always lived up to the ideals upon which this country was founded but the capacity for change and improvement was woven into the fabric of our Republic without which our ideals would never have had hope of surviving.

The enemy today is apathy among our people, incompetence from our leaders and a brutal foe who makes the old Redcoats seem pollyanna in comparison. As we celebrate this important day let us not forget the men and women who have answered the call of our nation to defend our lives and liberties and re-dedicate ourselves to the ideals upon which our Republic stands. God bless the United States of America!
