Holocaust grave site found in Ukraine

Continuing with today's apparent history theme, the Houston Chronicle reports the sad news that "a mass grave holding the remains of thousands of Jews killed by the Nazis has been found in southern Ukraine near the site of what was once a concentration camp". Considering the number of victims of the Nazi bastards this shouldn't be too surprising, but it is a sad reminder of the cost of that war especially in innocent lives. It is also is a good lesson in why evil cannot be appeased or ignored for long but must be confronted and defeated. No doubt victims from equally brutal Soviet oppression in the Ukraine will be found by construction crews in the coming years as well.
