While Dean's World is leading the charge on the blogosphere to ban dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO), one of the deadliest and most addictive chemicals known to man, I do believe that he is overlooking the nasty effects of sodium chloride. This mostly soluble substance has been found in different forms including disodium telenide, in sulfides and even halite! As bad as the problem of DHMO has become, sodium chloride pollutes all of our planet's oceans (at levels of over 11 million p.p.b.), has managed to get into most of the world's food supplies, has been found in most homes and medical tests show that large quantities have been ingested by human and animal life forms. Tests on humans alone show levels of sodium chloride at over 1 million p.p.b.! Sodium chloride can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease and even cardiac arrest! Where are the activists and government agencies dealing with this health crisis?
